How do the Street Dance Cards work?
The cards are a set of 40 cards featuring street dance moves, each displayed using Lenticular technology. This technology allows the dance moves to be viewed in a repeated loop as the card is tilted back and forth. The cards also have a QR code which you can scan to view the move via video on any mobile device. Additionally, the cards come with a Dance Die, which can be rolled to generate random move combinations. Dance teachers can use these move combinations to create choreography for themselves or use them interactively with their students.

The cards stand out due to their use of Lenticular technology, which brings the street dance moves to life in an engaging and interactive way. This has never been done for this type of learning. Moreover, The cards offer a hybrid experience, allowing users to access move demonstrations both in analog format on the cards and digitally via QR codes. The integration of the Dance Die adds an element of randomness and excitement, making the cards a versatile and innovative teaching tool.
Can the Street Dance Cards be used for different styles of street dance?
Yes, the cards cover a wide range of street dance styles, including Hip Hop, House, Popping, Locking, and breaking. More moves in some categories than others, but there will be booster packs available at a later date with more moves. Each card features a street dance move categorised by style, difficulty level, beat counts and extra prompts for variations.
Are there any sample combinations provided with Street Dance Cards?
Yes, the cards will include some sample move combinations to provide guidance to dance teachers. These sample combinations showcase how different moves can be combined along with our ‘Enhancer Cards’ to create dynamic choreography. This will be included in the play book of instructions that comes with the Street Dance Card deck.
